How To Make Smoked Old Fashioned Cocktail Recipe

Are you a bourbon fan?  Wait until you try this Smoked Old Fashioned Bourbon Cocktail.

Smoked Old Fashioned Cocktail with Bourbon

– Premium or Top Shelf Bourbon - It doesn't have to be the most expensive, but good quality is best.  Brad likes Maker's Mark, Bulleit, and Buffalo Trace, to name a few reasonably priced bourbons. – Simple syrup, maple syrup, or sugar cube – Bitters – Twist of orange peel  – Cherries (optional)

Ingredients

Tools  – Cocktail Smoker Kit – 2" Ice Cube Tray or Round 2" Ice Tray – Old Fashioned Cocktail Glasses – Orange Citrus Twist Peeler – Measuring Shot Glass – Muddler

Add large ice cube or ball to the cocktail glass after all ingredients are added and stirred.

Cocktail Recipes

Use Chalk Marker to add cocktail recipes to the table or make recipe signs using vintage chalk boards.  

Add a twist of orange peel to the cocktail glass before smoking.

Cover with smoker lid and add a small amount of wood chips to the wire basket.

Smoked Old Fashioned

Use torch to ignite wood chips allowing smoke to fill the cocktail glass.

Cocktail Smoker. 

Continue to smoke until glass is filled with smoke.

Let smoked filled glass sit for approx. 1 minute before removing lid.
