DIY Star Garland  using  Recycled Aluminum Cans

Are you looking for a patriotic and eco-friendly way to decorate your home for the Fourth of July or Memorial Day? Look no further than this budget-friendly DIY recycled aluminum can star garland!

Gather 10-12 recycled aluminum cans

Prepare Aluminum Cans

Wash & Dry cans. Then cut top and bottoms off and cut vertically to open the can.

Use 2 inch star punch to make the star from the aluminum cans.  If you prefer, you can cut with scissors.

Punch Hole in Stars

Use a large nail and hammer to punch a hole in each star.

With Painters Tape Attach stars to a cardboard box.  .

Spray paint with your choice of colors.  

Flip over and paint the backside of all stars.
