Top Ten Most Popular Crafts of 2022
I’ll begin the countdown with number ten and go from there.
#10 Most Popular Crafts – How To Make DIY Placemats No Sew
Back in March, I was planning a Spring Tablescape for our monthly Supper Club series and wanted some unique placemats. These no sew burlap placemats worked perfectly with the table setting.
I personally liked this idea so much, I made another set and painted them pink for a Spring Tablescape.
# 9 – How To Make Round Tropical Placemats
Placemats were popular last year because number nine is also a DIY placemat. This placemat was made for our Supper Club’s – Hawaiian Luau in June.
# 8 – DIY Star Neutral Wreath
This recycled tin can Star wreath was so fun to make. Originally the idea was to create a patriotic 4th of July wreath with neutral colors.
However, I think they will make great winter wreaths for the front porch. What do you think?
# 7 – Easy Scrap Fabric Pumpkin Pillow Cover
Here is another recycle project and one of my favorites. This scrap fabric pumpkin pillow cover was created to work with the yard sale quilt I found over the summer.
It’s a no-sew project that has so many possibilities and options.
If you have missed any of the other scrap fabric pillow options here are the links.
- DIY Spring Pillow Cover
- Heart Pillow Cover
- Patriotic Pillow Cover
- Fall Pillow Cover
- Christmas Pillow Cover
# 6 – How To Make DIY Paper Christmas Trees
Learn how to fold these cute Christmas trees and use them to make garlands or use them as ornaments.
# 5 – How to Make A Dried Fruit and Herb Christmas Garland
Although this project was initially published in November 2020, it still made the top 10 of 2022. It is definitely one of my favorite DIY projects, and obviously yours as well.
#4 – Best Lamp Makeover Ideas
I have repurposed several lamps, including this easy thrifted lamp makeover. So when my friend asked me to update one of her lamps, I knew we could make it work in her newly renovated downstairs at the coast. She loved the results, and I’m glad you liked it also.
#3 – How To Paint Flour Sack Napkins
When you can’t find what you want, then make it. That’s what happened when I needed some napkins with an Italian feel for our Supper Club series last February. You can see how easy it was to make these inexpensive napkins and also how to make a bow tie napkin fold.
# 2 – How To Make a Distressed Napkin Decoupage Lamp
Lamps were also popular this year. Of all the lamp makeovers, this is my favorite because the lamp was a $1.00 thrift store find, and the results are amazing.
# 1 – Most Popular Craft of 2022
Easy Napkin Decoupage Christmas Ornaments
The top 2 posts are both Napkin Decoupage projects which I find interesting. These ornaments were so easy to make, and I’m thrilled that they were so popular.
I hope you enjoyed this recap of the most popular crafts of 2022.
