This countdown of the top 10 DIY projects is based on how many people read the blog post. Therefore, this is a reader’s choice award. Christmas is usually the biggest season for DIY projects, but you may be surprised at the number one most popular project of 2024! So let’s get started!
# 10 – 5 Easy Dollar Tree Ornaments Makeovers: Boutique Style Christmas Decor
First, in the number 10 spot is this year’s Dollar Tree ornament makeovers. Easy instructions allow you to turn inexpensive ornaments into unique, one-of-a-kind Christmas decor like you’ve seen in high-end boutiques. At only $1.25 each, this was undoubtedly a budget-friendly option for boutique-style ornaments.
# 9 – DIY Cottage Oyster Shell Garland: A Unique Coastal Craft Idea
Although written in August 2023, this next DIY project didn’t blow up until 2024. This garland is made with upcycled oyster shells and wooden beads representing fishing corks. You can see all the details by clicking read more.
# 8 – DIY Old Book Leaf Craft with Dollar Tree Woodcrafts For Fall Decor
And next, is this easy craft idea that was written in October 2023 and was an instant hit. It has continued to be very popular in 2024. Dollar Tree materials make this another inexpensive, budget-friendly decor option.

Don’t you just love a good Dollar Tree DIY project? Last year in February, I started making these Easter Egg Wreaths and ended up with 3 options.

Next, at number six is an oldie but a goodie. This was really a surprise because I wrote this article in February 2020, my second-month of blogging. It took it four years to blow up. LOL. However, it is one of my all-time favorite ideas.

Another Dollar Tree idea comes in at number five. I wrote this article early in August last year, and everyone loved it. It is such an easy project, even for a beginner.

Coming in at number four is this past Christmas’s most popular DIY project. It is the rustic pinecone Christmas tree centerpiece. With only a few months before the end of the year, it blew up quickly.

Next is the recycled wine cork Christmas Tree tutorial which was written in October 2023. It has been going strong ever since. Although it’s a holiday DIY, it has performed well all year. I guess everyone is saving their wine corks. LOL
# 2 – How To Craft A Stunning DIY Sunflower Wreath With Pinecones
Another DIY project that stayed popular for two years in a row is the DIY Sunflower wreath with pinecones. It was written originally on August 2023 and remained in the top posts all year.
# 1 – 5 Easy Valentine Wreaths with DIY Paper Roses & Dollar Tree Frames
And finally, by far and away, the most popular DIY project of 2024 was these 5 Valentine Wreaths made from Dollar Tree Frames and sporting paper roses. It has double and triple the views of any blog post ever. I’ll show you all 5 wreaths, and you can pick your favorite.
