The Perfect Girlfriend Easter Gift
This post is sponsored by The Hershey Company.
Yβall know how much I love decorating for Easter and having friends over for the holidayβs. Iβm excited to join HERSHEYβs in celebrating Easter this year. Weβve all missed getting together with our girlfriends this past year and I wanted to create a unique and tasty gift for my friends. Hereβs what I created.
Itβs so easy to make the Perfect Girlfriend Easter Gift with one stop shopping at Publix and with HERSHEYβS, CADBURY AND REESEβS candy eggs. Everyoneβs beloved egg shaped candies are back for Easter and are exactly what I needed to create this fun gift.
Iβm going to show you how easy this project is and inspire you to make your own!
Itβs the perfect gift not only for girlfriends, but also for mothers, grandmothers, and
sisters, just to name a few possibilities.
So get your creative hat on and letβs get started.
Donβt hesitate because Easter Sunday is April 4th, which is 8 days sooner than in 2020.
The Perfect Girlfriend Easter Gift β Hersheyβs Chocolate
First, letβs go shopping at Publix and gather all the supplies needed to make the
perfect girlfriend Easter Gift. You can get your supplies delivered easily with Publixβs
Instacart or find everything at your local Publix. Check out this store locator to find
your nearest location. Iβm going to take you on a written journey around the store!
Letβs begin in the seasonal section and choose a few bags of your favorite chocolates.
What girl doesnβt love CADBURY MINI EGGS candy and REESEβS Peanut Butter Eggs?
The REESEβS eggs are the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate in a
classic egg shape. We all know and love the CADBURY classic egg candies β theyβre
always crispy and colorful!
In addition, I love to fill candy dishes and bowls around the house with another favorite, HERSHEYβS Candy Coated Eggs. So you might need two bags of these!!

Container for the Perfect Girlfriend Easter Gift
After finding all the HERSHEYβS Candies you want for your gift, you need to decide on a container to put everything in.
Because I would like to use something that my girlfriends could use after Easter, letβs head over to the baking section. Publix has several options that would all work perfectly.
Here are a few of the things youβll find. The cute scalloped pie plate was my choice. I knew it would be perfect to hold everything and my friends would love it.

What else Can we Find?
Next, did you notice all the tempting goodies in the Publixβs Bakery as we came in? Oh my gosh, how to choose.
The practical side of me finally won out and I chose the almond and chocolate covered strawberries because they would stay fresh longer. Plus, they were perfect for the idea I had for a little DIY project. I canβt wait for you to see it.
Letβs check out the floral department.
Publix is known for their gorgeous flowers and this cute little Polka Dot Plant caught my eye. It was the perfect size for the pie plate and it could be transplanted later to enjoy all summer.

We are almost done shopping! How are you holding up so far? We can always crack open a bag of HERSHEYβS Peanut Butter Eggs if we need to snack on something. There are 6 in each package, you know! LOL

Additional Items
Letβs grab some parchment paper, foil baking cups and wooden skewers to complete the project. This will be needed for the little DIY project I told you about.
Hasnβt this been fun? Itβs so easy to shop for everything you need for Easter Gifts at Publix.
In addition, I also have several faux bird nests at home that will be perfect for holding the CADBURY Mini Eggs candy.
If you donβt have a faux bird nest, you can easily make one using tissue paper or shredded paper to form a nest shape.
Girlfriends Easter Gift Instructions
Letβs get started! First, line the baking dish with parchment paper. Cut the paper slightly longer than the length of the pie dish and form a ball by squeezing the paper tightly.
Now, press the wrinkled paper into the bottom of the pan to form a base for all the items to rest in.

In order to make the gift extra fun and interesting, letβs add the foil baking cups. To make a flower shape, just fold and fan out the edges of the foil cup. Then, place the Chocolate Covered Strawberry inside to appear as the flower center.

Next, letβs make some more flowers using 3 of the foil cups. Begin by twisting the bottom of each cup and fan out the top edges. Then, attach a wooden skewer to each cup by pushing the skew into the twisted tin.
Note: Break the wooden skewers into different lengths to arrange the foil cups at different heights in the plant.
If necessary, you can add clear tape to hold the skewer in place. However, I found the foil pressed tightly around the skewer worked great.

Just stick the skewers into the plant dirt to hold the foil flowers in place and lay a coated egg in the center. TA DA!
Donβt they look so cute holding one of the HERSHEYβS Candy Coated Eggs as the flower center.

Now, fill your bird nest with CADBURY Mini Eggs. Arenβtβ they a perfect fit?

Finally, place all the candies on the parchment paper and add a few of the REESEβs Peanut Butter Eggs.

Isnβt this just the cutest Girlfriend Easter Gift ever? Itβs such a fun, easy and practical project.

Use as a centerpiece
BEWARE! You may need to buy extra! This project is addicting and youβll be wanting to make one for everyone you know.
So be sure to get your HERSHEYβS, CADBURY MINI EGGS candy & REESEβS eggs early while the best supplies are available at your local Publix.
After finishing the Girlfriend Easter gift, you may be tempted to make one for yourself. It looks so cute mixed with the Easter Table Centerpiece items.
I hope you enjoyed this fun DIY project and come up with your own special Easter gifts!
