Are you thinking about Christmas here in the heat of July? It’s hard to believe, but we are already starting to plan Christmas Craft Ideas here at the farmhouse.
Sustainable Christmas is a big trend this year, and easy-to-make, budget-friendly, and eco-friendly Christmas crafts will be front and center. I have gathered 32 craft ideas and trends to share with you today.
What are Sustainable Christmas Crafts?
What does sustainability mean, and how do we relate it to Christmas crafts? Sustainable has become a buzzword for not harming the environment in our consumption so that future generations will continue to enjoy the conveniences of a modern lifestyle. You may use the terms Eco-Friendly or green when discussing sustainability.
When I was thinking of Christmas Crafts that would fall into this category, I also thought of crafts made from nature and recycled goods.
Using natural greenery is also a big trend for 2022, and as long as you don’t cut a tree, it’s definitely sustainable. So here are some of the Christmas Craft Ideas that I consider sustainable.

Christmas Tree with Dried Hydrangeas
Are your hydrangeas in full bloom right now? If so, you may want to start collecting the blooms to dry for this stunning project.
I tried to save as many blooms as possible so that I could add them to my Christmas Tree last year. By combining the hydrangeas and thrifted shiny brites, the tree was decorated with sustainable and vintage materials.
