What Are Some Ideas for Living Room Decorations?
Rugs
One of the easiest and least expensive ways to decorate a living room is with area rugs.
The latest rug to grace our living area is this neutral low-pile rug.
Although there are colors in this rug, they are very subtle and until you add the color elsewhere in the room, you barely notice them.

I still love the jute rug used in the living room.
In addition, you can see another neutral rug by the front door.
Flooring Ideas
Another question I am asked often is “what is my flooring. Believe it or not, the flooring is Distressed Honey Bamboo from Home Depot. This flooring is durable and doesn’t scratch easily therefore it’s a great living room flooring idea.
To create a curated and eclectic idea for living room decorations, use furniture pieces that are repurposed such as the deconstructed side chair.

In order to not distract from the DIY Kitchen Island, we opted for Low Back Counter Height bar stools and we love the reclaimed look of the Distressed Honey Bamboo flooring.
Trash to Treasure DIY Living Room Ideas
Another living room idea is this card holder box which is made from an old silverware box.
Antique Decoration For Living Room
I love new furniture choices, however I try to find unique pieces such as this wooden bowl from The French Farmer’s Wife. The antique door and architectural element makes the farmhouse unique and curated.
Although I love the smell of a great candle, these Flameless Flicker Candles are a safe choice for this arrangement.
