Quick & Clever Easter Centerpiece: Decorate in Minutes
With Easter just around the corner, you may be looking for a way to create a beautiful table centerpiece like me. This year, I challenged myself to create a stunning Easter table centerpiece using items I already had around the house. Forget running to the store for new decorations! I’m sharing my secrets to a ‘Quick & Clever Easter Centerpiece: Decorate in Minutes’ that will have your guests wondering how you pulled it off. By simply repurposing existing Easter decor, from an adorable pewter bunny to the faux eggs, you can create a charming and unique focal point for your holiday table. Let’s dive in and discover how to transform your home’s hidden treasures into an effortless and eye-catching centerpiece!

Today’s Easter centerpiece is part of our monthly Pinterest Challenge series, hosted by Cindy at County Road 407. This month’s inspiration comes from the lovely and talented Emily at Le Cultivateur. When I saw Emily’s centerpiece, I was excited that I had so many of these same elements that I could pull together. So, let me show you what I used from my stash.

Easter Centerpiece Elements
The first step when using an inspiration image is determining the element you want to use to create a similar style. Here are the elements I plan to use in my table centerpiece.
- Long Table Riser: I made this riser several years ago and love how it elevates any table arrangement.
- Wicker Basket: I love collecting vintage and thrift store baskets, especially handcrafted ones. Today’s basket is a favorite due to its unique shape, which is perfect for a flower arrangement.
- Faux Flowers: Using faux flowers is an excellent option for early Spring decor and I have several options for this arrangement.
- Glass Cloche: Okay, you may say I’m obsessed with cloches. I have several sizes in glass, plus many garden and metal ones.
- Vintage Dishes: Y’all know I love collecting vintage dinnerware and using dishes to decorate my farmhouse. So I have plenty to pull from
- Pewter bunny: I don’t have a bunny holding the salt and pepper shakers but I do have some pewter bunnies I’ve collected over the years.
- Salt and Pepper Shakers: Another thing I have trouble leaving behind in a thrift store is unique salt and pepper shakers, so I have several options here.
- Bird Nest and Eggs: Needless to say, I have many!
- Plate rack: I love displaying dishes in my cupboards and shelves, so I have several like Emily’s.
- Vintage Bottles: Another one of these things I love to collect. So we are good to go.

Quick Centerpiece Styling
I’m creating my centerpiece on our screen porch table. Although the space is covered at this time due to pollen, it’s a great spot to enjoy these early spring days.
Centerpiece Floral Arrangement
To create the quick Easter centerpiece, I began in the middle of the table riser and worked outward. I filled a favorite handcrafted basket with faux peonies, which are soft to the touch and look very authentic.

Insider Tip: Greenery Clever Tip
Did you notice the greenery at the front of the Peony Basket? Want to know what that is? I wrapped a greenery candle ring around one of the peony stems and let it hang at the front of the basket. It gives the arrangement an added punch without filling the whole basket too much greenery.
Pewter Bunnies
Next, I added the pewter bunny and silver salt and pepper shakers to the floral arrangement. Instead of just one bunny, I added a smaller one on a stack of vintage thrifted plates and covered it with a glass cloche.

The vintage plates are among my favorite finds and the delicate pink flowers complement the peony arrangement.

Greenery and Stacked Dishes on Riser
I decided to forgo the plate rack and instead added a stack of vintage dishes topped with a greenery candle ring. I love to collect butter pat plates, so I added a sweet rose pattern stack to the middle of the greenery ring.

More greenery, a vintage bottle turned candleholder and a bird’s nest complete this end of the table riser.

The area surrounding the table provides a festive backdrop to the table centerpiece without distracting from it. Vintage green bottles, old windows and a basket of delicate flowers are on top of the thrifted old cabinet. At the same time, the flower market container has been repurposed as a plate rack and is surrounded by greenery and Easter Bunnies.

Final Touches: Quick and Clever Easter Centerpiece
I added a few final touches to complete the quick and easy centerpiece. A scattering of Spanish moss, a few small eggs, vintage bottles, and another bird’s nest add the finishing touch to the Easter Centerpiece.

I accomplished my goal and didn’t spend a penny creating this quick and clever centerpiece. Most of the items I’ve had for years, but they look brand new in this fun Easter Centerpiece vignette. The screen porch table is complete and ready for the Easter holiday. I hope you enjoyed it.
