Kahlua & Blue Bunny Delight Recipe
Y’all I love Blue Bunny Ice Cream Bars and Kahlua. If you do too, I think you will love this tasty Dessert Recipe.
I’m sharing my “so easy even I’ll make it” Kahlua & Blue Bunny Delight Recipe for our Virtual Supper Club Menu this month. We are including the full menu for this Spring Event and all my friends are sharing their yummy recipes.
If you’re coming over from Michele at Vintage Home Designs, thanks for staying around for dessert. I think you’ll be glad you did. I can’t wait to try Michele’s Delicious Deviled Eggs Three Ways. They look so yummy.
Kahlua & Blue Bunny Delight
My favorite Ice Cream Sandwich is Blue Bunny so that’s my preferred choice, however any Ice Cream Sandwich will work.
In addition, I like to use my homemade Kahula Recipe to make this dessert. You can obviously use the expensive store bought brand, however if you’d like to try your own Easy Delicious Homemade Kahlua, just click here.
“So Easy Even I’ll Make It”
If you don’t already know, I don’t like to cook and I’m fortunate that my husband loves to grill, smoke, etc. However, if the recipe is super easy, even I’ll make it. So you’ll find that most of my recipes fall into this category and this dessert recipe is no exception.
Mix the Kahlua with the Blue Bunnies
Begin by pouring 1/2 of your Kahlua into the bottom of your dish.

Then lay the sandwiches flat along the bottom pressing them into the kahlua.

Next, pour remaining Kahlua over the top of the ice cream sandwiches.

Lastly, sprinkle the crushed Heath Toffee Bar over the top of the sandwiches and cover. Then place the dish into the freezer and allow to freeze over night.

Hi Rachel. I haven’t had ice cream sandwiches in ages; now I’m gonna fix that! These look great. Do the heath bars stay all crunch and hard, or do they soften up? I might have to substitute something since heaths give my teeth a fit sometimes. And by the way, I sure am enjoying your blog.
Angela,
I really appreciate this. They stay crunchy, but any Chocolate bar or nuts would be great on top.
Everything looks just delicious!
