How to Decorate with Vintage Toolboxes
What is it about those old beat up wooden tool boxes that captures our hearts? When I find one at a good price, I can’t leave it behind. Therefore, I have quite a collection.
Today I want to share How to Decorate with Vintage Toolboxes in several different and unique ways. They are such a versatile décor accessory.
In addition, I’m joining the Lifestyle of Love Blog Hop hosted by Cindy at County Road 407. All the talented participants are sharing their Toolbox Style with you and I have a link for each one at the end of this post. If you are coming over from Paula at Virginia Sweet Pea, I’m so glad you decided to stop by. I love sharing my passion for decorating my forever home with DIY and Thrift Store Finds. I hope you enjoy my eclectic farmhouse style.

How to Decorate with A Toolbox for Valentines
The first inspiration is my latest centerpiece for Valentine’s! This is one of my favorite toolboxes because it large enough to hold many items.
I didn’t spend any money styling this Valentine’s Tool Box. I’ve had the toolbox for several years as well as the ironstone pitcher, ironstone dishes, collection of red books and thrift store candlesticks. In addition, a DIY heart garland and DIY Snowy Branches were added to the toolbox. Here is how to easily add snow to branches.

Decorate with Toolboxes in Kitchen
Another favorite way to use a toolbox is to fill it with a collection. This toolbox holds a collection of vintage rolling pins.
This vintage toolbox was the first one I purchased and the décor rotates often, because it’s located on the kitchen island. In the photo, all items are thrift store finds. You can see more about how to style with thrift store purchases on this post.

Tool Box in the Bathroom
A tool box is a great way to store towels, soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. This tool box serves as a towel holder and still has room for 3 vintage milk glass vases in my guest bath room. The extra high handle is perfect for draping the hand towel.
Gardening ToolBox
Another collection that can be stored inside a toolbox is gardening tools or clay pots.

Other Seasonal Toolbox Decor

This Chippy Red Toolbox is a favorite for holding Christmas Décor.
