What Are Some Free And Easy 4th of July Craft Ideas?
First, if you are like myself, you may have a supply of scrap fabrics. I can’t seem to throw away left over fabrics so I usually have a good supply.
Here are a few things you can do with your scrap fabric.
Scrap Red and Blue Ticking Fabric for 4th of July Decorating
You can create fun and inexpensive 4th of July Decor using red and blue ticking stripe fabric.
To create this fun Chandelier, rip strips of ticking fabric and tie them to a light fixture. I also made a few drop cloth stars and some crystals to make it more festive.
This is so cheap and easy to make and looks great hanging from this DIY Solar Chandelier over a rustic patriotic dinner table.
In addition, the center piece is a simple thrifted basket filled with greenery and a few American Flags.
The 4th of July Decor for this table is complete with these DIY Patriotic Napkins which are also made from scarp ticking fabric.
This Made Easy Patriotic Tablescape was my first table setting I added to the DIY Greenhouse.
How To Make A Scrap Fabric Pillow
Here is another way to use your scrap fabric to decorate for the 4th of July.
You can once again use red and blue ticking fabric scraps to make this fun and easy no sew Fourth of July pillow.
You only need Scrap Fabric, Permanent Fabric Glue and a Pillow Cover to make this Easy No Sew Pillow Tutorial. To see the video tutorial click here.
How To Make Free Patriotic Crafts?
Y’all know I love free decor and here is a super fun and easy way to add patriotic decor to your decor.
This Patriotic Wreath From Twigs Tutorial can be made any size that you desire.
This would be fun for kids as well as adults.
This would be a fun project for any group gathering over the holiday.
You can each make smaller stars to apply around the grapevine wreath and everyone would have a part in the project.
Patriotic Decorating Ideas work from Memorial Day through Labor Day so there are so many options.
Here is another DIY Patriotic Light Decor Idea which was added to the screened porch light fixture.
In addition, I recently had this impromptu Patriotic Picnic on the porch when an unexpected rain shower cancelled our original plans.
