Supplies For DIY Dollar Tree Pumpkin Wreath
You may be saying it isn’t too early to make a fall wreath. I promise you that the Dollar Tree is filled with fall supplies, and they go fast. To get ahead of the rush, now is the time to shop for your DIY Fall wreath supplies.
First, I found this twig wreath at a thrift store for only $1.00. Instead of buying another wreath form, I decided to use it as my base. Here are the supplies I picked up at my local Dollar Tree.
- 5 packages of burlap flower stickers
- 3 packages of beige pumpkin clips
- A package of raffia ribbon
- 1 roll of burlap dot ribbon
The total cost of supplies was $14.00, and putting the wreath together took me only 20 minutes.
How To Make DIY Fall Wreath
To make the DIY Fall Wreath, begin with the pumpkin clips. Gather the pumpkins together in one section of the wreath. I used the clips to attach them to the twig wreath. Remove the clips and use hot glue to secure the pumpkins to the wreath form if you use a wreath without the twigs.
In addition, if your wreath has a top hanger, place the nestled pumpkins slightly to the left-hand side at the bottom of the wreath.
Adding The Burlap Flower Stickers
Next, using hot glue, randomly add the burlap flower stickers around the DIY fall wreath. Leave a gap above the pumpkins on the left side to allow space for the bow.
Add Bow To Wreath
Finally, add the bow to the wreath. I first added the burlap dot bow by tying it on the wreath. Then, I added a second bow made with the raffia ribbon and attached it to the top of the first bow with hot glue.
Once you are happy with the arrangement, you are ready to hang your new fall Dollar Tree wreath.
How To Hang the Pumpkin Wreath
I decided to use my new pumpkin wreath inside the house. I tried it first on the loft bathroom door and loved the contrast with the chippy white paint.
But then I decided to move it to the antique barn door in the living room. I use an S hook to hold the Dollar Tree Wreath in position on the open door.
The neutral colors are perfect for this area of the farmhouse.
I have hung the Dollar Tree Wooden and Old Book Page Leaves next to the door and love the combination.
