How To Make A Christmas Candle Ring With Pinecones?
I wanted to make a pinecone candle ring this year but hadn’t had time to gather the pinecones. So, I ran across these gold pinecones I purchased from Dollar Tree a few years ago. I also had a small grapevine wreath made with foraged grapevine. It was the perfect size for a candle ring, so I decided they would make a unique combination for a Christmas candle ring.
Supplies
- Approximately 12 small gold glitter pinecones (Dollar Tree from a few years ago)
- A small grapevine ring, approximately 4-inch open center (Foraged), or purchase one like these.
- Hot Glue Gun
How To Make Glitter Gold Pinecones
If you prefer to forage your pinecones, add the gold glitter appearance. Here is how to get the look.
- Gather your pinecones and clean them.
- Spray paint them with gold leaf spray paint.
- Then spray with Gold Glitter Spray Paint.
- Or, if you want a heavy glitter appearance, use a spray adhesive to cover the pinecones.
- Sprinkle heavily with gold glitter.

Easy To Assemble Candle Ring
To assemble the DIY candle ring, place the grapevine ring on a piece of wax paper or other protective, non-stick surface.
