What Is The Difference Between Regular TV and The Frame TV?
Both TVs will allow you to watch all your favorite shows, but the Frame TV looks like artwork when not in use.
However, you can easily add free art to your TV screen using a variety of YouTube channels that offer vintage art, fine art, and more.
Is YouTube Art as good as The Frame TV Art?
Based on data from Samsung, the Frame TV has a matt display and provides virtually no light reflection, making the images appear more authentic.
Is this worth the difference in cost? That depends on your plan for using the TV art.
This image was taken mid-day, with minimal glare on a regular TV, and our home is very bright during the day.
Why Add Art To Your TV Screen?
Why should you add art to your TV screen? Some people, like my husband, don’t find the black box offensive. He would just like a bigger black box.
Surprisingly, he discovered this hidden gem, and since I couldn’t operate the remote control, he was in charge of finding appropriate art to display on the TV.
For me, it’s a decorator’s choice. When we have guests, I’d prefer the TV to blend into the rest of my decor choices. Therefore, a vintage painting looks much better than a large black box.
I don’t need the TV screen to display art 24/7, so the free YouTube TV art is a budget-friendly option for me. I like to add free art when we are entertaining, and there is no glare on the screen in the evenings. It was perfect for our Christmas party to display a vintage Christmas scene, and Brad was responsible for ensuring the display stayed on the screen throughout the party.
For some, the added cost of the Frame TV Art may be worth having art displayed all the time.
Do I Have To Have A Smart TV to Stream Free TV Art?
If you are currently streaming apps on your TV, you can also easily add Free TV Art.
A smart TV has the steaming capability built into the device. However, you can easily convert a regular TV into a Smart TV by adding a Fire Stick or Roku Stick to your existing TV. Both will allow you to add apps such as Netflicks, Sling, Hulu, and YouTube for streaming.
The YouTube App has many channels that offer free TV art and screensavers. As you find your favorite pieces of art, subscribe to the channel and add to your favorites for easy access.

I feel like I've been hiding under a rock, Rachel. I had NO IDEA that You Tube had art for tvs like this - that is so cool! I love that you can turn it on during parties and gatherings and have the picture blend in like a piece of wall art. Excited to share this on Friday! It's such a great idea. Big hugs and happy new year, CoCo
