Where did the month of July disappear to?
It’s been the fastest month ever and I can’t believe it’s the last day!
I think I’ve slept in my own bed only 7 days all month long.
I have so much that I want to share with you from this past week.
In case you missed it, the most amazing Christmas in July Blog Hop with over 24 talented ladies sharing Inspiration and Trends for Christmas 2022. In addition, a delicious peach dessert recipe and a Backyard B B Q setup and dinner menu which included the recipes.
Plus, you will not believe what other inspiration I found on the web this past week.
So grab some coffee or tea and settle down for some Dirt Road Adventures.
This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.
Here’s a little behind the scenes first.
Wedding Weekend
I had barely returned from the Haven Conference before I was on the road again.
This time we were traveling to Kure Beach for our beach neighbors daughter’s wedding. Our neighbors have been lifelong friends and were our neighbors when we were first married. It’s ironic that we are now neighbors once again at our vacation homes.
The wedding was held on Kure Beach Saturday evening and it was so beautiful.
I thought I’d share a few memories with you.
First, the setup crew and great friends minus the husbands who were also a big help setting up for the reception.
Such a beautiful beach setting.
The weather was perfect.
Mr. & Mrs. arriving at the reception.
Brad and our friend sweetJoan at the reception.
Sharing a special moment with the mother of the bride. There could have been some singing involved. LOL
After dancing the night away.
Such a beautiful wedding and great evening spending time with friends that feel like family.
Thrifting with the Gals Adventures
I found these European Wooden Boxes or Baskets and I wonder what you would do with them. After doing a google search, they are designed for breads or pastries.
I have a few ideas about how I plan to use them, but would love to know your ideas.
In addition, I found this vintage dough cutter for only 50 cents which was a great deal.
I did a few DIY projects (that are coming up) and I’ll be sharing all the details ASAP.
Catching up from Haven Conference
I’m still shifting through my notes from Haven Conference and making a list of priorities for the next few months. I have so much I want to share with you and the ideas are just overwhelming. I’m trying to be more organized and hopefully I’ll settle down and get all these ideas up on my blog.
Thank you for your patience as I get myself organized.
In Case You Missed It

So sweet of you to share my vintage-inspired gift tags, Rachel, thank you so much. They were crazy easy to make and I love that you can dress them up or down and use them throughout the year too. What a beautiful bride and a special day to celebrate a wedding. It looks like you guys had the best time! I am gobsmacked at how fast July flew by but I'm looking forward to the holidays. Can't wait to hear what you thought of Haven and to find out what you have in store for the holiday season. Big hugs, CoCo
