Happy Sunday, and Welcome to Dirt Road Adventures with a little thrifting and a lot of puppy love.
Today we’re looking back at some of my thrifting adventures and some great finds. In case you missed it, here is everything that happened on the blog and some great inspiration from around the web. In addition, a behind-the-scenes adventure to Red Spring Farm.
Thrifting Finds
First, I shared a few of these items last week, but I only made it home with these items on Monday.
The blue dessert glasses were a great deal at only $1.00 each. I can’t wait to share how I plan to use everything.
I also couldn’t resist the metal lamb and brass vase, perfect for Spring decorating.
On Saturday, we went to Red Spring Farm to help my daughter choose a new puppy.
This is where our sweet Rudy is from, and it was so tempting to bring another puppy home with us.
Jennifer chose a sweet girl, and we are excited to have a new grandpup. She had a recent haircut, so she looks so tiny compared to the photo above. But she’ll be a fur ball again soon.
Kristen has just started breeding mini-bernedoodles, and Brad was very tempted. We were in puppy heaven.
Rudy was less than thrilled when we came home smelling like puppies. We had to change clothes and take a shower before he calmed down. So maybe it’s a good thing we didn’t bring a puppy home this time. LOL

What’s in my cart
Although I love vintage copper pieces, I decided to add the new copper measuring spoons to the DIY Copper Spice Rack. They are convenient to use with the spices displayed here.
I also can’t get enough of the Brass S hooks. I use them all around the house.
You also saw the pegboard bins I added to the closet makeover.

So many fabulous links to enjoy, Rachel! I am losing it over the pups. They are so cute. My sister has a cava-poo (I think that's what they're called King Charles Cavalier + a Poodle) and he is the best dog. My nephews are wild for him and he is just as patient as patient can be. I hope Jennifer has the same kind of experience with hers. Rudy cracks me up! Love all the goodies you found on your treasure hunt and can't wait to see how you decorate for spring. I'm off to pin your beautiful St. Patty's tablescape! Hugs, CoCo

Seeing your new grand pup puts a smile on my face! We lost our sweet dog last year but still not quite ready to get another. Time will heal. Thanks so much for the mention this week!

Michelle, I'm so sorry. It's hard; we waited four years before we go another.

I love puppies and have to stay away from all shelters! We've had 3 dogs for years and I could add another 3 a week if I could afford it or had the time! Very excited for your daughter! Love this weeks posts and features as well. That St. Patty's Day table is amazing.

Cindy, I know it was so hard not to bring one home with us. I appreciate your sweet comments and I love that table too. One of my favorites.
