Dirt Road Adventures – In case you missed it
First, I’ll share some of the adventures we had at the end of the dirt road.
We worked hard getting up leaves! Oops! That was my husband. LOL
We hung the vinyl covers over our screened porch. I did help hold the ladder on that one.
I started cutting my fresh greenery to decorate around the house and shared How to Keep your Greenery Fresh during the Holidays.
In addition, I shared How to Make Real Cedar and Orange Topiaries and The Secret to Making Fresh Cedar Garland.
We started work our Christmas Party menu and actually shopped for a few items. Mostly wine! LOL
In addition, the house is finally all decorated for Christmas and I shared a Holiday Home Tour along with 29 Bloggers who opened their homes for so much Christmas Decorating Inspiration. If you missed it, get cozy and join the tour here.
Because I used some different colors this year, I started making some Christmas pillows and I’ll be sharing soon.
Finally, I received some happy mail yesterday and added some holiday excitement to the guest bedroom and you’ll see that this week, as well.

Why Didn’t I Think of That?
Each week, there are so many wonderful blog posts, and I’m sharing some of my favorites with you today.
There are so many creative ideas, and I’m always asking myself, “Why didn’t I think of that”? LOL
Here are some blog posts along with other things I found this week that you might like.

This garland with vintage cards and dried oranges was a scroll stopper on Amber – Follow The Yellow Brick Home’s Christmas Tour. Plus… Look at the door itself! Swoon!
I’d love to recreate something similar. Do you have vintage Christmas cards? Well, I found these that would great on a similar wreath.
I also found this ribbon and this garland.
Ann at Dabbling and Decoration shared her front wreath tradition for her costal Maine Home and it’s so beautiful.
I found these cute rain boots here and this coastal ribbon here.
Another home tour I loved was from Stacy at Bricks N Blooms. She is moving before Christmas and shared a last look at their home for the past 23 years.
My talented friend Cindy at DIY Beautify made these cute Santa Ornaments and shared all the details on this post. She used printable graphics from The Graphic Fairy. You can find so many great graphics and ideas on Karen’s sight.
I have shared several graphics from The Graphic Fairy including these great vintage labels.
Are you a coffee drinker? Even if you’re not, you might be tempted with these delicious recipes that Rachelle from My Hubbard Home shared.
I love vintage red and white dishes but I don’t have any. I’ve looked but the prices are always more than I’m willing to pay. However, I have these dishes that have a vintage vibe and I love using them for Christmas. See them here.
You can see how to make the Pocket Cutlery Holder Napkins here and the Tassel Table Runner here.
What a great gift idea. I love Antique Candle Co. holiday candles and these sample packs make great hostess gifts, teachers gifts and stocking stuffers. Plus.. there are plenty of full size Candles to add to your guest list. See them all here.
Finally, I think it’s important that we take time to enjoy the busiest time of the year and I loved this post from Kristin at White Arrows Home – Tips for Taking Time to Savor the Christmas Season.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I look forward to sharing more adventures with you this week.

I can't get over all this Christmas inspiration, Rachel! It's all just magical. Thanks so much for including our holiday entry. I haven't used that tree in years so we were super excited to bring it down from the attic and give it a place of honor! Hope your week has been filled with all good things, CoCo
