Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures.
Happy November Friends!
Now that it’s November and daylight savings time is over, it’s time to get serious about Christmas decorating. I spent last week putting some of my plans together, and this week, I’ll be taking inventory of all the Christmas storage boxes. I’ll probably make a few donations because I’m working on so many new projects and have lots of new plans for this year’s farmhouse decorations. I can’t wait to share all my ideas with you.
I couldn’t help but notice that even nature is ready for Christmas decorating. Look at this adorable cedar tree that Mother Nature decorated with bits of falling leaves.

Holiday Open House
My friend and I attended Spade and Broom’s Holiday Open House in Trinity, NC. We walked around admiring all the beautiful displays. It was so crowded that I didn’t get any good photos of the shop, but here is what I brought home. If you are in the area, they will be open again next week. You can check their schedule by clicking on the highlighted link above.
I purchased several pieces of greenery, like these dripping cedar candle rings. I couldn’t resist the cute lambs and the Norfolk pine candle ring. My favorite items were these vintage shiny brite ornaments and these adorable white holly leaf dishes. I failed to include a vintage silver cake slicer, but it’s lovely.
