Dirt Road Adventures: Looking Back At The Last Week Of June

Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures: Last Week of June! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures.

Hey Friends,

Can you believe we are at the end of June? Summer arrived with a blast of unrelenting heat, making me wonder what July weather will be like. The heat is taking a toll on my hydrangeas, creating brown spots on many. The zinnias are just beginning to bloom, and I rescued as many as possible to enjoy while at the beach cottage.

If you are celebrating the 4th of July, your vacation may start today. I hope you will be somewhere cool. We are spending the week celebrating with family and friends. I plan to take a mini break and enjoy a relaxing week. Therefore, I will not publish Dirt Road Adventures next Sunday.

I hope you have big plans for next week, and I look forward to catching up with you the following week.

Adventures at the End of the Dirt Road

This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.

We started our vacation a little early and went vintage shopping at the Ivy Cottage in Wilmington. For once, I didn’t bring anything home, but they had some beautiful pieces.

Before the 4th of July crowds arrived, we had dinner at a favorite restaurant, Soul Flavor, in Carolina Beach. We stocked our refrigerator full of food so that we don’t have to fight the crowds in the coming week. We are settling in for a week of enjoying the beach.

But let’s see what you may have missed from last week.
