Welcome to another week of Dirt Road Adventures!
Dirt Road Adventures, is a look back at what’s been happening this week at the end of the our Dirt Road! In addition, I love sharing all the creative things my friends have been doing off the Dirt Road.
This has been such a busy week. I’ve been sharing how to style bowls and trays over on Instagram plus, I’ve been cleaning out my workshop.
Whew, I’m exhausted and I haven’t made a dent in the progress out there.
In addition, I ordered a bunch of flower seeds. You’ll know why when you see my friends Kim’s post from this week.
This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.
It all started on Sunday, when I couldn’t take it any longer and decided to clean and organize my Pantry. Well, in the process, I realized that I had one brilliant idea when designing the pantry. Here is the post that gives your all the details.
Although no one will be staying in our guest bedroom, I have decorated it for Valentines Day and here is a tour of the lovely room.
Things that I didn’t get done on the Dirt Road
Do you remember the new/old chest that I found for the master bedroom? Well, it’s still sitting right where I left it and no progress has been made on refinishing it. Hopefully, inspiration will strike soon!
Although the pantry was simple to organize, the workshop had become a drop zone for anything that I wasn’t sure what to do with. Since I had previously used it to upcycle clothing, it was filled with 3 racks of cloths and a cabinet full of fabric scraps.
Thankfully, I was able to donate the clothing!
I’m looking forward to having my workshop back and can’t wait to share it with you once it’s finished.
Adventures off the Dirt Road
Why Didn’t I Think of That?
Each week, there are so many wonderful blog posts, and I’m sharing some of my favorites with you today.
There are so many creative ideas, and I’m always asking myself, “Why didn’t I think of that”? LOL
A Garden Adventure
Kim at Shiplap and Shells shared a wonderful, thorough tutorial on starting seeds for Spring planting. I just order my seeds and can’t wait to take her advise. Just seeing her flower gardens is worth the trip over to her blog.
Genius Organizing Tool
Have you ever tried to find a seasonal item in the many boxes in your storage area? Well, my friend Julie at My Wee Abode discovered the most clever tool to identify everything in those storage boxes. I can’t wait to try this as I’m on my knees in the attic digging through my spring boxes for my tulips. Seriously, that’s what I’m doing. LOL.
Adorable Craft Adventure
My creative friend Michele at Vintage Home Designs crafted this gorgeous baby’s breath wreath. You will definitely want to see how easy this project is and make one yourself.
