To stay organized, I shop seasonally in seven categories. Here are my top seven must-have Fall home decor items, DIY projects, and other decorating tips. Although we are only at the beginning of Fall, many items are already on sale to make room for Christmas decor. In addition to scrolling online, this is a great time to look for fall décor at thrift stores. You will find that many items being pulled out of storage bins have now been donated or consigned.
Maybe you’ve already decorated for fall! Even if you have finished decorating, now is a great time to check out all the Fall decor online and in stores.

You can also find great pillow deals at thrift stores and consignment shops.
If you see an ugly pillow for cheap, check the filler. If it’s down-filled and in good condition, always snag it because you can add an inexpensive, cute pillow cover. Just use the down pillow filler with the new pillow cover and discard the ugly pillow cover.

4. Candles and Candleholders
Candles are another way to add cozy warmth and keep your home smelling wonderful in the fall. Thrift stores offer great deals on brass, pewter, and wooden candlestick holders. It’s an inexpensive way to purchase home decor. In addition, they add color to mantels, coffee tables, and shelves.
One favorite way to display candles is to use a hurricane lantern and fill in around the candle with seasonal décor such as acorns or nuts for a fun display.
