Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures – Welcome February! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures.

Well, hello to February! I’m in shock that January is over. Where does the time go?

Our weather returned to normal this past week, but I spied my daffodils breaking ground, and I know they will get frostbite. It’s too early for these buds, even if Phil did predict an early Spring.

Have you been out to the thrift stores this week? I stopped in at several of my favorite shops and left empty-handed. I had such good luck the previous week, but that’s what thrifting is like. Some days are better than others.

I am in the middle of several projects coming your way soon. Remember the thrifted lamp from last week? It’s really coming together, and I ordered a new lampshade that will arrive next week.

So, with some projects on hold, I traveled to the beach on Thursday to catch up with my husband. He has been there all week helping with a neighbor’s house.

Rudy was so happy to see his daddy, and so was I. Since he retired, we have rarely been apart.

What’s In My Cart

I’m loving how comfortable and stylish my new Brooks shoes are.

These napkins just arrived, and I can’t wait for you to see how I’m using them.

I had to order another torch gun for Brad because the original broke. I’m changing the link on the Old Fashioned Father’s Day post and the Smoked Old Fashion Bourbon Cocktail recipe because this one is of much better quality.

I can’t wait to receive this lampshade for the lamp project I’m working on.
