Add a decorative trim to the top of the planters.

We also added a metal strap which is optional.
A combination of different paints were used to achieve the faux galvanized finish.
You don't need to wait for paint to dry between colors.
Using the paint mixtures will create a rustic crusty finish.
Burnt Sienna Craft Paint added the rusty finish.
