Old windows and architectural salvage are a great way to build a gallery wall. Although some salvaged pieces can be pricey, many are inexpensive.

Neutral paint colors can be used in any room of the house and can be easily coordinated with different furniture and accessories making them very versatile.

A collection of vintage copper and a favorite thrifted basket help to add texture to the dining area.

The dining area is full of thrifted white ironstone, white shiplap walls, a vintage white enamelware light fixture, a white bench, and a chippy old church pew.

Repurposed Card Catalog

You can also see the repurposed vintage industrial piece tucked underneath the staircase. I realized the card catalog drawers are perfect for holding bottles of wine and therefore decided to use it as a wine bar.

The coffee table is made from old barn wood and industrial hardware.

Although I love all my vintage and thrifted items, I wanted a less cluttered and open feel for summer.

The kitchen island is actually  two vintage sideboards repurposed into a 6 x 7 foot lsland.

I love changing the pantry door, chalkboard sign seasonally.  The original chippy paint is a great accent color for the kitchen, and I plan to paint the island a similar color soon.

An old industrial cart with chippy paint is repurposed as a TV cart in the loft.

Last spring, the powder room became the perfect spot to display a portion of the old inherited family photos.

The bar is a DIY project, and the old chicken nesting box holds seldom-used bar items.  The nesting box influenced the DIY sign over the bar.
