We built two inexpensive rustic raised beds from materials left over from another project.

We have room for more beds but with my limited garden skills, we didn't want to spend much money to build them. So we looked for alternatives for planting.

I had some cut flower plants that I had started from seed and wanted a bed to plant them in.

I had been watching an old iron bed frame rust away for several years and decided to ask if I could rescue it.

We painted the recycled bed white & anchored it to the ground.
