Dirt Road Adventures – Happy Easter

Happy Easter! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I’m sharing a look back at all the adventures from last week. In case you missed a blog post, here is a recap. In addition, I found so much inspiration around the web.

We are at our beach cottage, and earlier this week was perfect beach weather; however, the weekend brought rain and colder weather.

We had some great meals and did a little thrift store shopping before the rain came.

Today we will join our beach friends and neighbors for an Easter brunch. Regardless of the rain, we will be celebrating this Easter Sunday.

Vintage Finds

Do you remember the vintage light fixture I found last week?

We installed it in our beach cottage. There was no electrical wiring to be attached to the vintage fixture, so we used these battery-operated light bulbs.

They work perfectly and can be dimmed with remote control.

We stopped at two Habitat Restores for a bit of thrift store shopping. I found all of these items for only $7.00, and that was after rounding up.

My favorite find is the vintage brown jug for only $3.00.
