Welcome to the Vintage Loft Christmas Tour. If you like an industrial farmhouse feel, you will love our industrial-style loft, which is decorated with vintage charm for Christmas. Join me on a magical tour of unique vintage finds for a cozy loft recreation room.
I’ve only shared the loft on a few tours because it’s a more casual space where we hang out and watch TV. However, it is filled with vintage and repurposed industrial items we’ve collected over the years, and I hope you enjoy the tour.
The loft is over the kitchen and open to the living room below.
This year the industrial wrought iron banister has been kept simple and is decorated with simple gold bells and snowflakes.
Leading to the loft, the gallery wall is filled with vintage windows and architectural details. In addition, I added the custom Christmas sign from Olive Branch Farmhouse.

Vintage Loft Christmas Tour
The tour begins at the top of the stairs, where you are greeted by a vignette full of vintage and thrift store finds. The chippy, antique Coke sign has muted colors that work well for Christmas. However, it is a permanent fixture here at the top of the stairs.
A great thrift store basket filled with mini trees sits on an antique trunk we purchased many years ago. Beside the basket is a vintage snowman ornament in the middle of a candle ring and a collection of vintage Christmas children’s books.
Next to the upstairs bath is a handcrafted wooden desk and chair; both are treasured thrift store finds. The desk holds several old mirrors layered at the top.
Industrial Style Loft Bar
The industrial-style loft is part of our entertaining and relaxing area. This includes a bar made from two repurposed hospital carts and topped with a chicken nesting box.
The hospital carts had metal tops that were added between the two cabinets to serve as open shelves. And finally, a wooden top was added with a small raised shelf to hold barware.
For fun, a DIY sign, “Welcome to the Coop,” references the nesting box, which serves as extra beverage storage.
Another vintage touch is the tobacco stick ladder which holds a small wreath and several vintage brooms.
Family Area in Industrial-Style Loft
Another purpose of the loft is for family time and relaxing TV time. A vintage industrial cart is repurposed as a TV stand in the vintage loft.
The sofa table is another handmade piece of furniture, and the nativity scene is one we’ve had for over 40 years. That makes it vintage. Am I right?
You will see that many vintage pieces decorate the loft area, including old sifters, wooden crates, and seltzer bottles.
The coffee table is decorated with an old metal sleigh filled with natural greenery and vintage shiny brite ornaments for a festive touch.
Another small tree is filled with mini brass bells and vintage clay snowmen ornaments and sits on an old wooden encyclopedia box.
Loft Bathroom
In addition, the loft bathroom is filled with more vintage, including the old family photo gallery wall.
This was a project I tackled during our covid isolation. My mom had recently passed, and I was left with an overwhelming number of inherited family photos.
Instead of packing them away in boxes, I created this gallery wall with photo frames I had around the house. Some received a coat of black paint to allow them to work with the others.
Although I might have chosen different frames had I been able to shop, I’ve kept the wall the same since I finished it. It’s still my favorite idea for using inherited family photos. Also, you can see How To Hang A Gallery Wall without a Mistake.
In addition, the bathroom features a custom-made salt glaze pottery sink from Turn and Burn Pottery in Seagrove, NC. The vanity and mirror are both thrift store finds.
I hope you enjoyed the Vintage Loft Christmas Tour.

It's hard to believe having something so long that it becomes vintage. I had that hard reality the other day as well. You entire loft and especially that nativity is darling. I could hang out up there all day long. Love the bathroom as well with your full gallery wall. So clever. Merry Christmas!

Cindy, I just saw someone post a yellow Tupperware colander asking if anyone remembered it. I still use mine. LOL

So many wonderful touches. I love a gallery wall and how fun you created such a warm personal tribute in your loft bath. I love all the industrial pieces, but those hospital cabinets for a bar cart is genius. Hope you're having a wonderful Christmas season!

Rachel, what an amazing space. I would never leave. Your eye for detail from the little star by the mirrors on desk to the greens and tree. I think the coop is so fun. Thanks for sharing.
