DIY Ideas for Friendsgiving Centerpiece

Here are some of the Ideas for Friendsgiving that I used for the centerpiece.

First, I created a few faux leaf stems using the technique I used for the Leaf Garland. I used a floral fabric tie and smaller craft paper leaves. However, the method is the same; you can see that tutorial here.

I wanted the centerpiece’s rustic and unique containers, so I covered recycled tin cans with foraged twigs! You can see how easy it is to cover and recycle tin cans!

Arrange Dining Table Centerpiece

My idea for this Friendsgiving Centerpiece is a rustic design with a wooden slab as the anchor.

To start, place your wooden slab on the table and build your dining table centerpiece by adding a pinecone stem to the large Twig Tin Can.

Next, twist 3 – 4 of your craft paper leaf stems along the pinecone stem. Also, add one stem to the tin can inside to hold the pinecone stem in position and to fill in the base of the arrangement.

Then, add a smaller twig can and amber bottle to the wooden slab.

In addition, fill these two containers with raffia corn stalks and gathered pinecones.

To make the corn stalks, I used a twig, raffia, and foraged pinecones.

Begin by twisting the end of the raffia around a twig and wrapping it with a floral tie at the base. Add hot glue to secure the faux corn stalks and attach tiny pinecones to the twig, if desired.

Finally, add a few faux gourds around the base of the containers to complete the centerpiece.

I snipped a couple of sprigs of berries from another arrangement to add a touch of color to the table centerpiece.

TaDa, that’s it! Such a simple and easy arrangement!

The neutral colors are going to be perfect for our upcoming Thanksgiving Supper Club Dining Table.

Even Grace looks over the dining table centerpiece with approval.

I began to play around with the tablescape by adding amber glassware to compliment the centerpiece.

One of my favorite ways to decorate is to use handmade, DIY items to create unique centerpieces and other home decor items.
