11 Easy Easter Dessert Recipes

Y’all know I’m all about easy recipes, and today I’m sharing some Easy Easter Dessert recipes that you can whip up in no time for your Easter festivities.

I know you’d rather be out hunting for eggs than spending the Easter weekend in the kitchen cooking. Therefore, I’m sharing some of my “it’s so easy, even I’ll make it” dessert recipes, as well as a few from my Supper Club friends.

Plus, if you want to serve mimosas for your Easter gathering, I’ve got some great recipes included also.

Easy Easter Desserts

First, is probably the easiest dessert recipe ever.

Easy Kahlua and Blue Bunny Dessert Recipe

Yield: 6 people

Kahlua & Blue Bunny Delight Recipe

Kahlua & Blue Bunny Delight Recipe

The easiest frozen dessert recipe. Perfect for summer.

Prep Time 15 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 Ice Cream Sandwiches. , Blue Bunny is preferred brand
  • 2 Heath Toffee Bars, Crushed
  • 6 tbsp Whipped Topping
  • 6 jiggers Kahlua
  • 6 Maraschino Cherries, With Stems

Instructions

  1. Pour 3 Jiggers of Kahlua into bottom of pan
  2. Press the 6 ice cream sandwiches into the Kahlua
  3. Pour 3 remaining jiggers of Kahula over top of ice cream sandwiches
  4. Add the crushed Heath Toffee Candy bar over the top of the Kahlua
  5. Cover and put into freezer over night
  6. Cut each sandwich into small squares and place a full sandwich into each serving dish. If you are not ready to serve immediately, place the serving bowls into the freezer.
  7. Just before serving, cover top with Whipped Cream
  8. Add Cherry to top and serve immediately.

Notes

Use Homemade Kahlua for a more tasty dessert.  See my Easy Delicious Homemade Kahlua Recipe here

You can add additional topping if preferred.

In addition, you might like to use a Homemade Whipped Topping.

Easy German Chocolate Upside Down Cake – Easter Dessert Recipes

Not only is this recipe super easy to make, but it’s great to make ahead of time and freeze. Believe me, this is a winning recipe for any chocolate and coconut lover.

It is my husband’s favorite dessert ever, and I can make it too. LOL

Yield: 24 squares

Easy German Chocolate Upside Down Cake

German Chocolate Upside Down Cake Cut into squares.

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix, Prepare as directed
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 cup Coconut Flakes
  • 1 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 box Confectioners/Powdered Sugar
  • 1 stick Butter , or Margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Grease 9 x 13 Baking Dish
  3. Mix Chopped Pecans & Coconut together
  4. Spread evenly into bottom of baking dish
  5. Prepare Cake mix according to direction and beat until smooth
  6. Pour Cake mixture over top of pecan & coconut mixture
  7. Melt butter and cream cheese in sauce pan over low heat
  8. Once mixture stirs well, add powered sugar slowly, stirring continuously until mixture is smooth.
  9. Pour over top of cake mix.
  10. Bake for 25- 30 minutes

Notes

Cake freezes well.

Blueberry, Pecan Pancake Bread Pudding – Great Easy Easter Recipe for Breakfast or Brunch

This recipe is excellent for breakfast, brunch or dessert. It’s super easy and can be prepared ahead of time to pop in the oven on Easter for a quick breakfast or an Easy Easter dessert recipe.

Blueberry Pecan Pancake Bread Pudding

Blueberry Pecan Pancake Bread Pudding

Easy to make ahead of time dessert or breakfast recipe

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 35 minutes
Total Time 55 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 Frozen HomestylePancakes
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 - 6 ox. package fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Wash Blueberries and allow to dry
  2. Grease 8x8 Baking Dish
  3. Cut pancakes in half and place in baking dish with flat edge down in two snug rows.
  4. Scatter blueberries and pecans over and in between pancakes
  5. Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour evenly over pancakes
  6. Chill over for 4 hours or over night
  7. Preheat oven 350 degrees
  8. Bake 35 - 40 minutes or until puffed
  9. Let stand 10 minutes
  10. Sprinkle with remaining blueberries and pecans
  11. Serve warm
  12. Drizzle with Honey Sour Cream (optional

Notes

Prepared dish can be frozen for up to one week before baking.

Remove from freezer and place in refrigerator 24 hours before cooking.

Reserve small portion of blue berries and pecans to garnish after cooking.

The Secret to Make The Best Fresh Squeezed Lemonade

Simple Easy to Make

Prep Time 15 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1½ cup Sugar
  • 7-8 lemons
  • lemon zest
  • water

Instructions

  1. grate lemon for zest
  2. heat water with zest and sugar until sugar is dissolved
  3. stain the sugar and zest mixture
  4. juice all lemons
  5. add remaining water and refrigerate

Notes

Wash Lemons well

Zest two lemons and set aside

Place 2 cups of water, lemon zest and sugar in sauce pan

Heat until sugar is dissolved.  Do not boil

Strain sugar solution into pitcher

Squeeze juice from all lemons - should be approx. 1 cup of juice

Add juice to pitcher 

Fill with water until pitcher is full - 1 quart of Lemonade

Stir before serving - keep refrigerated until ready to serve.  

Serve over ice
