New Year’s Eve Dinner Table Decorations Ideas
For a New Year’s Eve dinner table theme, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so I looked for items I had on hand. These Dinner Table Decoration ideas are budget-friendly and easy to put together.
First, this is a cocktail party with appetizers, so I set the centerpiece in the back corner of the table. This allows guests to graze around the table, and the centerpiece is out of the way.
Add Dinner Table Height
Next, I added a box covered with a neutral tablecloth to add some height to the centerpiece.
Depending on how many dishes you are serving, you can add serving dishes to table risers as well.

Next, I added some of my frosty, gold, and silver bottle brush trees. Another table decoration idea was to add a tall church, which was turned backward, and I added a clock face to the backside.

The Count Down Table Decoration Ideas
Next, I added a collection of vintage clocks and clock faces to the table. The clock faces remind us of the countdown to the New Year.
I started collecting vintage clocks and faces while out Thrifting with the
Gals, and they really came in handy. I found these that would be fun as well.

Some of my vintage brass candle sticks and a string of fairy twinkle lights add some light to the table setting.
To add even more sparkle, I added a glass cloche over one of the smaller clocks as another table decoration idea.

A bottle of champagne and a few champagne flutes and you are ready for the party to begin.
Finally, the only thing I splurged on, except food, was a few 2022 Flags. However, I only spent $3.00. Not bad for a New Year’s Eve Party.
You can see more 2022 party supplies here.
Make the Dinner Table Fun
A fakery pie from Everything Dawn added a touch of humor to the table as well.
I wonder how many people will try to cut a slice?

In addition, the cute mouse is trying to keep everyone away from the cheese on this charcuterie board! Do you think my guests will get my humor?

See how to make these Salami Roses for your next Charcuterie Board in the video below.

Spread the Food Around
Although my table allows for plenty of food, I’m spreading the food around my dining area and kitchen. Everyone always congregates around the table, and I like to keep everyone moving.

In addition, I like to add a variety of heights to the table by using plate racks, tied trays, and boxes underneath tablecloths.
The Main Course
Although this month’s New Year’s Eve party is mostly hors d’oeuvres, the main dish should be hearty since guests will most likely be here until midnight.
I’ll be sharing this delicious recipe on tomorrow’s full menu and recipe post.
